Attorney Gerard Stocco, was born and raised in Chicago's northern suburbs, the oldest son in a family of 9 children. After graduating Loyola Academy in 1983, Mr. Stocco went to Cleveland where he bounced between majors, finally earning a Bacheler of Science in Political Science at Case Western Reserve University. Thereafter, Mr. Stocco returned to Chicago area, earned his JD from The John Marshall Law School in December 1993, AND earned an MBA in 1995 from Dominican University.
Between 1983 and 2000, during his college years and beyond, Mr. Stocco proudly worked along side his parents and siblings in his family's Northbrook-based, commercial cleaning company, 'DALE JANITOR SERVICE', holding the position of General Manager from 1995 through 2000.
In 2000, marriage drew Mr. Stocco south, from Northbrook to Naperville, at which time Mr. Stocco made the tough decision to leave the family business in the capable hands of younger siblings, trading his key-ring and dust-clothe for a fancy pen and legal pad. Beginning in 2000, Attorney Stocco practiced as an associate in the general practice law firm Heldrich, Gutman & Associates, PC. In 2002, Attorney Stocco began concentrating his practice in Plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death claims, partnering with childhood friends Matthew Friedman & Jim Bonebrake, as Friedman, Stocco & Bonebrake. With the joyous addition of kids to his family, Attorney Stocco left the big city in favor of a store-front, solo practice in Warrenville, Illinois, near Route 59 & Butterfield Road in Dupage County.
